The T-6 Texan is known as the “pilot maker” as it served as a trainer aircraft for both Navy and Air Force pilots specifically during WWII and into the 1970s. Besides being known as a trainer aircraft, many aviation enthusiasts can easily recognize a T-6 for the distinctive its radial engine makes.

At the Bremerton Air Show, this T-6 will be flow by Lee Oman. If you’re an air racing fan you may recognize Lee and his T-6 as he has been racing it at the National Championship Air Races for 25 years!
