MH-65E Dolphin – US Coast Guard

The MH-65 Dolphin is a modern short-range recovery helicopter. It first entered service with the U.S. Coast Guard in 1984, quickly earning a legendary reputation for its rugged reliability and high performance in all weather conditions.

To date, the aircraft has logged over 1.5 million flight hours. Originally derived from the French Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin, it has served as America’s primary multi-mission rescue asset, protecting coastlines and pulling thousands of survivors from danger for four decades.

The upgraded “Echo” variant coming to the show represents the latest evolution of this historic helicopter. Fresh off a fleet-wide modernization program completed by the Coast Guard, the MH-65E features a completely overhauled digital “glass cockpit,” advanced radar, and automated flight controls designed to keep it flying well into the future.
